Mr Jason Watson is a local scout leader who is very keen to start up a group of Cubs in Cliftonville. He has arranged four taster sessions in school to enable children to experience activities that Scouts would do.
A Cliftonville Scout Group will only be possible if Jason can find leader volunteers. If you or anyone you know are interested, please contact Jason on 07747463486 or email@example.com A volunteer might only undertake one session a month – it does not need a commitment every week.
The children who join the Cubs and the voluntary leaders, will have excellent opportunities to participate in a diverse variety of training programmes. You can find details of these on the NI Scout Association website or on the Facebook page of the 20th West Belfast Scout Group.
Here’s hoping volunteers come forward as the children loved the taster sessions!
