Feet First Families
On Friday 9th March 2018, lots of pupils left the car at home and walked, cycled and scooted to school. It was lovely to see all the bicycles and little scooters in our “park”. Thank you to all the families who participated in our Feet First initiative.

Integration Month
March is Integration Month – we take the opportunity to celebrate our integrated status and explore and learn more about each other.
The theme this year is Everyone Outstanding and throughout the month we will be running special events, teaching lessons around our theme and having our celebration Breakfast and Assembly.
Please note the following dates for your diary:
Friday 16th March – Integrated Breakfast
Thursday 22nd March – European Food Tasting afternoon

Shared Education
This week P1 and P2 enjoyed working with Bricks4Kids alongside our friends from Abbotts Cross Primary. We look forward to joining them again soon.

W5 Seismic Citizenship
The P7 pupils will visit W5 on Thursday 15th March to take part in the Seismic Citizenship event.

Please note that the JuJitsu Club will not run this Thursday 15th as the coach is on leave. Pupils should be collected at 3:00pm.

Uniform Reminder
All the children look very smart in their uniforms. We would like to maintain high standards throughout the year and look forward to your continued support. We would ask that all children wear black shoes.

Staff Training
School will close at 2:00pm for everyone on Monday 19th March to allow staff training.

After School Clubs
Cliftonville Integrated Primary School has been running ‘Ready to Learn’ and ‘P1 Homework Club’ through Extended Schools’ funding. The funding for this year ends next week. However, we are currently looking at various options to provide after school clubs for the new term. Unfortunately, all options being explored incur a cost.

All after school clubs will end on Wednesday 21st March. Details of activities for the third term will be sent home next week.

Non Uniform Day
Next Friday 23rd, we would encourage the children to dress in clothes that represent them – their favourite hobbies or interests. For example, a sports top from their favourite football team, an apron if they love cooking, a dance costume etc. Have fun!

Easter Holidays
Please note school will close at 12:00pm for all pupils on Friday 23rd March – this will be a non-uniform day.
School will open again on Monday 9th April at 9:00am.
