Support for our Outdoor Vision
On Thursday 12th April we had the pleasure of welcoming Baroness May Blood (Campaign Chair of the Integrated Education Fund – IEF) and Sir Bruce Robinson of the Irish American Partnership. Sir Bruce presented us with a cheque for $10,000 to help fund some of our ideas for expanding learning and community links beyond the classroom. We would like to thank Sir Bruce and Baroness Blood for giving time from their busy schedules and endorsing our great school. The IEF have worked tirelessly for Cliftonville Integrated Primary over the years and long may that continue.
Smoking on school premises
Please note that smoking cigarettes, e-cigarettes or vaping is not permitted on school premises – this includes outside in the playground or path up to the front of school.
We have been informed by the Education and Training Inspectorate (ETI) that Cliftonville Integrated is due to be inspected week beginning 23rd April 2018. However, due to current industrial action, “Short of Strike”, the inspection visit will be limited and many of the usual procedures cannot be followed at this time. The ETI will provide a basic report and revisit the school at a later date.
Last Friday some parents enjoyed their first English lessons at Cliftonville Integrated. The lessons will continue for another 5 Fridays and all are welcome. The tutor, Bronagh, will help parents learn some useful words and phrases in a friendly and relaxed setting.
After School Clubs
Please note that some clubs are on different days this term – a schedule can be requested from the office. Also please collect children promptly at 3:45pm (Scouts and Ju-Jitsu still finish at 4:00pm).
